Nate Currin is a singer/songwriter who uses music to tell stories about life, love, and other emotional circumstances that affect us all. Nate blends contemporary folk, blues, acoustic rock, and radio pop styles into a singer/songwriter feel. Having shared the stage with many big names in the music industry, Nate is familiar with the big-time stage and what it takes to succeed.
Hailing from the north Atlanta area, Nate plays shows all over the southeastern U.S. from Florida, to the Carolinas, and occasionally even ventures to California to play the west coast. His following has grown through MySpace and other online music portals, and Nate has been featured on several music websites, online articles, and newspaper publications.
Joe Gransden Quartet @ Smithgall Arts Center

If you love the sounds of Chet Baker or Frank Sinatra, then the April 17th performance is right up your alley. Thirty-five year old Joe Gransden will dazzle you with his singing voice and hard bop approach on his trumpet. Joe Gransden’s has done some sideman gigs for Barry White, Aretha Franklin, and the Temptations. Joe has performed world wide, at venues including The Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, SC, The Museum of Art and Design in Manhattan, Spivey Hall in Atlanta, GA, and Tehema Golf Club in Carmel, CA. Joe recently performed with Kenny G at Chastain Park in Atlanta, GA and is currently working on a smooth jazz CD with Kenny G as well.
Location: Evening of Intimate Jazz Series performances will take place at the Smithgall Arts Center; 331 Spring Street. SW, Gainesville, GA 30501
Doors open at 7:30pm and the show begin at 8:00pm
